What is Mindable?

Updated: Jul 7

ree

Mindable is a space for every mind — especially the ones that have been overlooked, misunderstood, or made to hide parts of themselves just to belong.

It's built on a simple but powerful idea: that mental health support should meet people where they are, in ways that feel human, healing, and inclusive. Whether you're navigating a diagnosis, unpacking years of masking, or just beginning to explore your mental wellbeing.

Mindable opens the door — gently, accessibly — to something different.

A place to breathe.

A place to feel seen.

A place to be wholly accepted & held in your truth.

Mental Health That Holds Space for Difference

Many people go through life feeling like their struggles are too much, their differences are wrong, or their needs are inconvenient. Mindable exists to challenge that — not just in words, but in action.

It was created to support those whose stories often fall between the cracks: people navigating neurodivergence, trauma, cultural stigma, systemic barriers, and complex identities. Here, mental health isn't a luxury. It's a right. And support isn’t shaped by a system that asks you to shrink — it’s designed to help you come home to yourself.

Whether you’ve been dismissed, misdiagnosed, or simply never had the space to unpack your needs before — you're welcome here.

What Mindable Offers

Mindable blends lived experience, academic insight, and therapeutic approaches to create tools that are both practical and deeply affirming. Current offerings include:

  • Guided therapeutic journals for ADHD, Autism, sleep, and memory

  • Sensory-based self-care packages tailored to each theme

  • Neurodiversity-affirming coaching focused on wellbeing, regulation, and self-trust

  • Free educational resources and reflective articles

In the coming months, this support will grow to include new journals and packages focused on areas like depression, anxiety, trauma, grief, BPD, and more. Every resource is crafted with care and available at varying levels of access — because everyone deserves support that fits their life, not just their finances.

Built from Experience, Guided by Integrity

Mindable was founded by someone with deep roots in advocacy, care, and lived experience. With over a decade of work in mental health, social care, education, SEND support, advocacy, the legal system, leadership, and EDI championing, the founder brings both a wide-lens systems view and an intimate understanding of what it means to feel unseen.

Their work has included direct support in safeguarding, therepeutic support, and specialist education settings, as well as research into neurodiversity and intersectionality — always with those most affected placed at the centre.

Mindable reflects that commitment: a platform shaped by real voices, real needs, and a refusal to accept "this is just how things are."

For Those Who’ve Been Left Out of the Conversation

At its heart, Mindable is about belonging.

It’s about offering something steady for those who’ve spent too long feeling “too much” or “not enough.” It’s about unlearning shame, reconnecting with who you are underneath survival mode, and gently rebuilding trust — in yourself, in support, and in community.

It’s not just a resource. It’s a reminder: you don’t have to go through this alone. There is space for your story here. There is space for you.
